About Me

Jesus Suncin is an illustrator who also dabbles in character design.  He currently resides in San Fernando, California.  From 2014 to 2019 he attended Los Angeles Mission College and Pierce College and received his AA in studio art.  He attended CSUN and graduated in June 2024 with a BA in animation.  He is well versed in traditional art mediums and is highly skilled with digital art programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Animate, Zbrush, Maya, and Unity.

 

Jesus Suncin is influenced by comic artists like Maximilian Uriarte and Tite Kubo.  His work is inspired by the military, Latino culture, and Polynesian tattoo patterns.  He is currently working more on his ventures into 3D art and is working on a 2D character design that will be revealed very soon.  He is also working on an illustration inspired by  Samoan inspired pen and ink illustration in his spare time.
